Content description
Portrait of two officers in military uniform, depicted full-length, standing. The man at the left of the composition, wearing a cocked hat with a feather, is turned to front and looking to right; to the right, behind him and holding a hat in his left hand, is another man who holds the reigns of a horse. To the left of the scene is a dying horse; in the right background a battle takes places.
