Object history | This textile was illustrated as part of a group of four textiles woven by J.W. & C. Ward in the Art Journal 1871 (p. 26). Historical significance: One of the few documented textile patterns by Christopher Dresser. The museum owns a curtain of this design in a different colourway (T.52-1983). |
