In the background, to the left of the image a third sheep can be seen, with its back to the viewer. 'BOOK 37.' is printed in the top-left corner of the plate impression, and 'N 1.' in the bottom-right. Centrally, below the image are what appear to be a title and publishing details, but which are indecipherable beyond the word 'Sheep'.
