Figures are seen in Burmese dress and the court costumes of the Konbaung Dynasty as worn in the 2nd part of the 19th century. The paintings display a mixture of Burmese and Western technique. An adaptation of perspective is seen in the landscapes.

A Burmese album (incomplete) containing 6 paintings in gouache on paper and card showing images of scenes depicting the King and Queen being entertained in the palace gardens at the 19th century Court at Mandalay. Probably commissioned by Europeans. ca. 1930's
