LOW CHAIR Designed by Maarten Van Severen (Belgian, born 1949), 1993 Made by Top Mouton, Belgium, 2001 Beech and beech plywood This design developed the form of Chair No.2, shown nearby. The apparent simplicity of the structure is belied by the change in thickness of the formed plywood seat and back, giving the chair a sense of elegance and flow.
