Possibly one of a range of designs for industrially-made ceramics and glass by contemporary painters and other artists, an experiment aimed at improving British industrial design conceived as a result of the Gorell report into the subject, 1933. All the glassware was made by Stuart & Sons. Ludwig Kny was Stuart's staff designer and it was almost solely his designs which were put into commercial production.
