Fashion plate showing a woman wearing a white satin evening dress. The bodice has a low neckline, and is pleated across the bust into a gold-coloured satin band. A circular cape comes from the front of the shoulder, over the short puffed sleeves, and is trimmed with a garland of gold-coloured gauze leaves. The full skirt is pleated into the waist and has a border of pleated tulle trimmed with a wreath of gauze laves. She is also wearing a gold-coloured waist sash, a gold locket, gold earrings, purple satin shoes, and white kid gloves. On her head is a large toque hat of pink and gold satin and tulle, trimmed with large bows.
