Fashion plate depicting five women in an indoor scene. The two women in the foreground wear off-the-shoulder evening gowns with full skirts and long white gloves - the woman on the left wears a yellow gown trimmed with white lace, and the woman seated to her right wears a pale pink gown trimmed with deep black lace borders and artificial pink flowers. Behind and to their left sits a woman wearing a deep purple off-the-shoulder evening gown, behind to the right stand two women wearing white gowns.
