Object history
Purchased from Thomas Keynes in 1946.
This object is not the original design, as the original drawings are in the collections of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery. This is a tracing, possibly done in around 1864 (the mounting paper watermark gives this date for two of the set of six designs). In addition, it is unclear whether the work is by or after Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

The final stained glass of this design is in the V&A Collection. Museum nos. C.316-1927; C.315-1927; C.318-1927; C.319-1927; C.320-1927; C.317-1927.
