Playbill for the Theatre Royal, Birmingham, Saturday 16 December 1865, advertising the last night of Mr Harry Webb in the title role of E. Stirling's drama The Rag-Picker of Paris! or, the Dress Maker of St. Antoine, followed by Dion Boucicault's drama The Octoroon!, or, Life in Louisiana, in which Charles Verner appears for the last time as Salem Sculler.

The playbill notes that the theatre is under the management of Mr M.H. Simpson Jnr., and that as a consequence of the 'gigantic preparation necessary for the production of the Grand Christmas Pantomime', after this performance the theatre will be closed until Tuesday 26th December 1865.
