On Friday, 18th August Palgrave Simpson's Comedietta, The School of Coquettes, with Henry Irving as Sir Aubrey Glenmorris, followed by a Jockey Hornpipe by Misses C & F Taylor, folled by Madison Morton's farce The Steeplechase, or, In The Pigskin, concluding with the Burlesque Extravaganza by F.C. Burnand, Ixion! or, the Man at the Wheel.
