Invitation card to a banquet held in honour of the King of Sardinia on 4th December 1855. Rectangular cream card printed with gilded oval frame, the frame incorporating blue flowers in its design. The frame contains the text of the invitation, printed in alternating rows of red, gold and blue. The oval is contained within a larger red rectangular frame with the gilded monogram of Victoria above, and a gilded crest of the City of London below.

Physical description
Invitation card to a banquet held in honour of the King of Sardinia on 4th December 1855. Rectangular cream card printed with gilded oval frame, the frame incorporating blue flowers in its design.
