Object history | The copperplates are preserved in the Chalcographie du Louvre, Paris. The National Art Library purchased 4327 prints from the Chalcographie in 1855, which have since been transferred to the Department of Prints and Drawings. After winning a medal at the 1848 salon, Daubigny received a state commission for this etching of Lorrain's l'Abreuvoir. |
