Historical context
This print is entitled 'Lady Molineux' in its third state, but both J. C. Smith and G. Goodwin state that the portrait does not resemble Isabella, Lady Molyneux (see E.653-1959) but does resemble a print by Robert Paul inscribed 'Mrs Barry'; Ann Barry, or Crawford, (1734-1801) was an actress. The sitter might therefore be Mrs Barry or an unidentified Lady Molyneux
