Part of a set comprising of twenty chromolithograph picture-making cubes and three key pictures, stored within a wooden box with a hinged lid that also bears one of the pictures. The cubes can be arranged to form six illustrations of children in national costume, feeding animals and playing in the country.
Inscribed in ink on the bottom of the box 'F. Willoughby Hancock From Lady John Taylour Selworthy. July. 1891.'
