These Dartington vases were all designed in the 1990s. The "Gridlock" and "Patch" vases are strong, stylish shapes. The "Gladioli" and "Lily" vases are two designs from the "Florabundance" range specifically designed to hold the most popular cut flowers. Each vase was designed to fit the particular flower rather than the flowers having to conform to the shape of a vase. The "Intimates" range is so-called because the shapes can interlock in a male/female way. They well suited the late-20th century fashion for minimalist flower display. All the shapes and sizes (these are the four largest) are made in all the available colours - clear, blue, lavender and green. |
