Jacquard woven sample in wool and rayon, with egg-shaped motif in stripes. The sample has a plain pale grey woollen warp, the design picked out in silver coloured rayon. There is a central area worked in yellows and an orange section of warp at the top end of the sample. Surviving selvedge on lefthand side.
