Object history
Given by Mr C. J. Whall, the Artist's son.

The window is a memorial to Dorothy and Monica Peveril Turnball (d.1901). The female saints are probably portraits. A later, more detailed drawing of the figure of St. Dorothy in the right hand light is illustrated in the 'Studio', December 1925 p.365.
