Object history | Max Clendinning was one of four designers (the others were Oliver Gregory, Jon Bannenberg and Peter Gynn) who were each asked by the Daily Telegraph to create interiors for the rooms of an old house in their own particular style. Clendinning treated each room as an architectrual shell and attempted to eliminate visual clutter by the use of single colour schemes and unified storage systems. The flowing geometry of his style is reflected in the drawings which were made by Ralph Adron. |
