Object history | 'The "Weenies by the Sea." Nursery decoration consisting of cut-outs (12) showing children playing on the sands, shrimping, watching a Punch and Judy show, riding a donkey, etc. Produced by John Stather & Sons Ltd., 1934. With a four page letter press leaflet giving titles etc. of other decorations in the series and directions for colouring, cutting and mounting. In an envelope with the illustration of the decorated borders affixed. Lettered on the envelope with the title etc. and "In washable oil colours." Stamped "Arthur Sanderson & Sons Ltd. 52/55, Berners Street, London, W1. Inscribed in blue pencil "1 Set." Colour Lithographs. Various Sizes. In envelope 25 x 30.5 cm. E.1175, A, B - 1186 -1979.'
