Physical description | Card table, carved and turned black Italian walnut. Half oval leaf top lined inside with green baize. On the curved side are three short drawers with round knob handles, above a wavy edge. Four tapering legs (octagonal) connected by wavy stretchers. Everted toes. Open leaf supported by a pair of gates each with similar leg, with a straight flat stretcher, and a vase finial above the hinge. The handles are modern and one of the back legs have been restored. |
