Production
Quote from artist: "I had lots of litho images at the time . . . which I took transfers from - transferred to the etching surface - then let dry and this acted as an acid resist. The centre panel is pure aquatint slowly immersed into the acid and allowed to creep up the plate . . . I had to etch 6 or 8 strips before I got the result I was after. I also . . . used some soft ground drawing through magazine photographs."
