Bibliographic reference | The plot description on the jacket cover is as follows:
'"Szandria, a small Caucasian kingdom, is ruled by a half English girl Queen. The country is faced with trouble in its mining area, fomented by Bolshevik agents and complicated by the scheming of Selby Hankinson, American financier. Anthony de Falbec, a pretender to the throne, allows himself to be used as a figure head by the revolutionary party, only to realize his folly at the 11th hour. Szandria refuses to place herself under Soviet Russia and is overwhelmed in scenes of bloodshed and violence in spite of heroic resistance of her little army". |
