Large card window box with opening from flap held by velcro, printed in colours on mottled yellow/orange to show the title in gold, maker's details and photograph of the doll. Inside is a pull-out lining of printed card, designed to hold a small window box in brown red card, with the doll, the certificate, a gold coin in black suedette purse and the booklet.
The doll is made from soft vinyl and has a reverse socket head, with a vinyl adult body, rigid slightly bent arms, curved hands with separate thumb, elongated legs with internal jointing at knees, feet shaped for wearing heeled shoes. The facial features are painted and comprise an orange-red closed mouth, brown eyes and lashes. The dark brown/black saran rooted hair is piled into a large bun on the top of the head. Rings and earrings are in special holes in the hands and head. The doll is wearing a gold imitation brocade qipao (a distinguished Chinese robe derived from a manchu) with high collar and side slits, gold shoes, imitation jade earrings, bracelet and neck decoration.
