A man wearing brigand-style costume, the cap in black and yellow brim and red tassell, collar and bow in scarlet, trousers dark green with red side stripe and bold cummerbund, dancing with a child wearing Romantic Ballet sylphide costume, with palest pink bodice and peacock-eye wings, the low waist accented with a trail of blue convulvulus and a rose wreath on her ringleted hair; she wears white gloves, a bold gold bracelet and a sweetly knowing smile.
