Full length female dancer, the head facing front with hair coloured brown and cheeks tinted red, the body facing right with right foot extended, the left arm bent behind the back, wearing brimmed hat with dull red ribbons, dull red low-cut, high-waisted bodice with yellow edging and lacing, the tiny puff sleeveedged yellow, and calf-length full-backed skirt, the hem banded in red and yellow, holding out long apron in the right hand. The shoes are tinted pale red and the ground palest green. Titled below: 'Mlle. Noblet, In the Ballet of La Paysanne Supposée.' Engraving by R Cooper after F Waldock, published by H Berthoud Junr., 14th March 1822.
