contained in a card folder printed in colours to show the title, maker's details and an illustration of three children playing with the bricks; on the back it shows toys around the edges and a girl in the centre putting embrocation fluid onto the joints of a wooden doll; inside is printed with the 24 shapes; folder flap printed with the instructions for making up the bricks
blocks have 6 adjoining illustrated squares with tabs for folding and gluing the made up bricks; each has a letter of the alphabet, 4 pictures with its title appropriate to the letter and an advertisement for a Sanitas product (X,Y,Z on one brick with only 2 pictures)
