| Production | This volume contains many plates from L.Mayer, Views in Turkey in Europe and Asia, W.Watts, 1801 *, with alterations of captions and imprints, and the removal of some of the engraved lines framing the views. According to Abbey, it is likely that all the plates in the 1810 volume which have no counterpart in Watts's 1801 book were engraved by Watts. |
