Wallpapers: a history and illustrated catalogue of the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum gives only the designer's surname 'Kingman', but suggests that it is 'Probably the same as George Kingman (worked second half of 19th century), a volume of whose designs for carpets is E.544-1956. Kingman attended the R.C.A. Schools.' |
