Place of origin |
Temple vase of stoneware, with openwork decoration painted in green and yellow glazes. Two dragons writhe among flowering branches, while the jewel designs and the scrolling lotus round the base suggest that this vase may have been used at a Buddhist temple. It would have been made from the same materials and in the same kiln as the temple roof tiles.
