Lady's Informal Robe of dark blue satin lined with light blue figured damask. Short, with wide sleeves and front opening.

Embroidered with eight floral medallions and with waves and 'li shui' round the hem and sleeves which are also decorated with three small medallions. Embroidery in coloured silks and silver thread in satin, stem and brick stitches with Pekin knots and laid and couched work.
