Vase of porcelain, painted in bright blue with a design of blossoming rape flowers and butterflies. Round the neck and foot are bands of feathery flower scrolls. On the base in underglaze blue is the written mark reading: 'Made by Kato Goruke, empolyee of the Notosha workshop'.
