Of filled-in lacquer, mounted on a carved lacquer stand with a perforated cover. The boxes, ingot-shaped in section, are of dark green lacquer , filled in with pale green, buff and red with various diaper designs and 'shou' characters. The stand and cover, of red lacquer carved down to a dark green ground and decorated with lotus scrolls on the base and sides, the top of the cover with ornaments and emblem in red on a dark green square diaper ground.
Conservation: 7/1974 Washed with water and freshened with reviver.
