On the sides are moulded the characters fu, lu, shou (happiness, rank and longevity), and there are three lions and sprays of pine, bamboo, and prunus in applied relief. On the rim are two handles in the form of prunus branches. Porcelain with dark aubergine-violet glaze, a patch of white glaze on the bottom inside.
