The attribution to Sang was suggested by F. G. A. M. Smit when he examined the glass in 1992.

  • There are four goblets with the same coat of arms in the Kunstmuseum, The Hague in the Netherlands. See: J. Pijzel-Dommisse en T. Eliens, Glinsterend glas: 1500 jaar Europese glaskunst, Zwolle/The Hague 2009, p. 210, cat. 318-321. Another is in the Haags Histories Museum [the Hague Historical Museum]. Some of these are thought to have been used at the yearly ceremonial dinner of the Hague town council.
