Dish of porcelain, painted in underglaze cobalt blue. Saucer-shaped with wavy edge. In the middle, an eight-lobed slightly sunk panel containing a girl kneeling with outstretched arms before a seated man. Surrounding this are compartments moulded in the shape of lotus-petals, containing alternately the Eight Precious Things and flowers. Border of geometrical diaper. Underneath the rim, the Eight Precious Things alternately with lotus-blossoms; on the border, the Eight Trigrams separated by trellis diaper.

This acquisition information reflects that found in the Asia Department registers, as part of a 2022 provenance research project.
