Tureen and lid, in the form of a duck with legs folded forward under the body, the upper half removable and forming the lid. The fur and feathers are naturalistically indicated in tones of sepia, the wing and back feathers however being in brilliant shades of iron red, pink, turquoise, blue, yellow and black with gilt details; the beak is in crimson-purple and the crest blue. Flat unglazed base.
