The fat laughing Maiteya Buddha seated and holding a rosary. Wearing a patchwork robe of many colours that leaves the torso bare, and seated on an oval plinth. Moulded in two pieces, the body being luted onto the plinth with join visible inside. Decorated in enamels on the 'biscuit' body, with a hole in the back of the statue, perhaps for offerings.
