Vase of porcelain. Beaker-shaped. Painted in three shades of green, red, yellow and manganese-purple, blue enamel and black with panels in reserve on a ground of stylised flowers broken by cranes in medallions. On the upper half two landscapes with poems; on the lower half two similar panels, also two medallions of plum-blossom branches and two cauldrons. The background is broken round the middle of the vase by two bands of diaper, one with reserved panels typifying the Liberal Accomplishments. Borders of narrow rings in underglaze blue.
