Vase of porcelain with decoration painted in blue on a powder blue ground under a clear glaze. Bowl-shaped body receding into a narrow neck which expands towards the top in a cup-shaped rim. Round the neck, a row of plantain-leaves, then a zone of diaper and, lastly, a zone of cloud-scrolls on a diapered ground, all this decoration being raised above the blue ground. Round the body is a zone of octagonal swastika and hook patterns. Two handles in the form of stylised dragons are attached to the neck.
