Place of origin |
Bust of Mao Zedong, modelled in a mould, in two sections. Heavy, thick-bodied, but well-detailed portrait. Shows Mao Zedong in late middle age, wearing a jacket with collar and two buttoned-down breast pockets. The jacket would probably have been dark blue, and the skirt worn underneath is visible at the neck. On the base is the stamped mark '020'.
