Curtain of embroidered yellow silk with coloured floss silks. With a red silk valance and two dark blue silk pendants, both embroidered with coloured floss silks. Pattern consists of a large peony-tree, a few peony-plants and daisies growing from a mass of rocks emerging from water with a rippled surface. Flowers and plants grow from other rocks. A small bird is perched on one of the branches of the peony tree, while another is seen flitting above. The valance is pleated in three panels, each of which is decorated with a broken framework of keyed pattern enclosing symmetrically arranged stems of peonies. These are grouped about a musical stone ties with ribbons which is suspended from the mouth of a bat. On each of the pendants is a pattern of wavy stems of peonies. below is a bat, a musical stone and a pair of peaches which are held together by strings of pearls. Lined with yellow silks, woven with medallions interspersed with symbolic objects.
