Form a series with 1644 to 1647-1900 depicting scenes of the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu jie) that takes place on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month.

Purchased from Mr. P. Kierulff (Villa Peking, Hellerup, Denmark), accessioned in 1900. This acquisition information reflects that found in the Asia Department registers, as part of a 2022 provenance research project.
