Featuring a large photographic image of a right hand, the fingers clenched to make a fist; the thumb pointing downwards. The title of the play The Death of Cool, and the name of the author, Alan Pollock, appear superimposed on the back of the hand, is as if branded on. The name of the theatre and its 'h' logo are printed in magenta below the image, in the lower right hand corner, with the date 'from 20 May' and the details of the box office number and the production team printed below that in black ink. The poster also features the logo of the London Arts Board in the bottom right corner.
