Physical description
Tea caddy (natsume), oviform with a lid. Wood covered in black lacquer with autumn plants, butterflies and praying mantis under a full moon in gold and brown hiramaki-e (low sprinkled picture), takamaki-e (high sprinkled picture) and togidashi maki-e (polished out sprinkled picture) lacquer; plain black lacquer interior.
