Collar of pineapple fibre embroidered in cotton and bobbin lace. Sheer fabric embroidered in white cotton in satin, stem, buttonhole and drawn fabric stitches with eyelet holes. Each side is decorated with a wavy trailing stem from which grow, alternately, round lobed leaves and maple-like leaves. Smaller leaves with serrated edges at the intervals and with little flower sprigs. Broad band of drawn fabric work and ornamented with rows of small geometrical devices. The lower edge is decorated with scallops filled with openwork embroidery and with two leaves above each one. The upper edge is ornamented with openwork triangular points decorated with button-holing, except for a small area in the centre which has a narrow border of bobbin lace in a scalloped design.
