Embroidered panel of pineapple fibre with white cotton in stem and satin stitches and with drawn thread work, and lace. At each end is a vase, hung with leaves and flowers, and from which rises a tall curving plant. The centre of the leaves and flowers are of drawn-thread work with a variety of chequered patterns. The deeply scalloped and serrated edge is bordered with drawn-thread work, and a spray of flowers follow the curve of each scallop. The leaves and flowers have centres of drawn-thread work in a variety of patterns. The edge is decorated with a line of machine-made picots.
