Set design for Lord Elsworth's Bedroom in "Oh, Clarence". The design, which is painted within a border at the top and bottom, depicts a bedroom in a stately home decorated predominately in red. At the centre of the design is a large four poster bed with red drapes. To the left of the room is an open window. The walls are decorated with a renaissance style mural. There are paint daubs and marks in the border area. Signed and annotated by the artist across the bottom of the design. On the reverse are rough felt tip drawings, probably of props for the production.

This Set design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The design was executed for John Chapman's play "Oh, Clarence" at the Lyric Theatre, August 28th, 1968. The play is based on the "Lord Emsworth" stories by P. G. Wodehouse, and was directed by Charles Hickman.
