Physical description
Hanging panel of tapestry-weave silk (kesi) in pink, blue, red and white on pale yellow silk warps. The ground is filled in with gilt wefts, rather than loosely woven. It carries a design of two ornamental pheasants perched on rocks at the base of a pomegranate tree. At the bottom are lotus flowers and two mandarin ducks swimming in a stream.
