Panel of yellow silk satin, embroidered with coloured silks. A garden scene with two pairs of spotted deer disporting on the rocks in the midst of flowering and fruit trees. The rockeries are clothed with peonies, chrysanthemums, begonias, and other flowers, diversified by clumps of bamboo, and branched heads of magic fungus. The acacia tree with its feathery leaflets at the bottom is unfinished, only the leaves and tendrils being worked in silk, while the stems and branches are merely sketched in ink and not yet filled in.
